Of course Heero was following him. Duo paused long enough to smirk over his shoulder at the other. Then spun and managed to send at least a bit of a gust of wind at his friend.

"Better than being bored outta my mind, buddy~"

Heero just stood his ground, the gust of wind tugging at his clothes as it passed. Duo was getting better. He was impressed.

"True. What are you expecting to find?"

That smirk turned to a delighted grin and the braided man rocks back and forth on his heels.

"Maybe a few scrolls to get better at this bending thing."

"Scrolls? You don't think that anything like that would be long gone?" If the locals were smart they would have hidden anything precious like that as soon as strangers started appearing. Information was power. Especially if it was a guide on how to become more powerful.

Duo shrugged. "Probably. Doesn't mean it'd hurt to look. And even if they are all gone... well... I think maybe just bein' up there'll help."

He reached up and rubbed the back of his neck a bit.

"You're doing just fine without any help." Heero said, watching Duo. The other pilot had taken to his element quite naturally. Or at least Heero thought he had. He still wasn't so sure about bending himself. After all, didn't he know enough ways to harm others? Even without the technology they were used to.

"But I suppose if you insist on going all the way up there, no one is going to stop you."

He startled a bit, staring at the other former pilot. Did he really just compliment Duo? Then he grinned. Well well well, would wonders never cease~ Just like when Heero had all but admitted Duo was the better pilot.

"Have to see for myself, ya know? Care to come along and see what I find?"

With a shrug, Heero nodded. "Like you said, there isn't much else to do."

Besides, making sure Duo didn't walk off a cliff was as good an idea as any. He would probably have to explain it to the others and he just did not want to have to do that.
