Chang Wufei | Water

The simpler manner of life was both calming, and rather irritating. There were so many things Wufei was used to having on a daily basis that were simply not there. But it was peaceful. So he did his best to simply enjoy the routine of the village he'd taken up shop in, so to speak.

The tea seller was a rather strange old man who enjoyed proverbs and a board game called Pai Sho. But he was willing to teach the young man. And Wufei was enjoying the lessons, despite the references to certain hot-tempered nephew. He almost felt he knew the idiot who sounded much like Maxwell. Just not so cheerful.

He settled down with his morning cup of tea and watched those going about their business.

Quatre Raberba Winner | Water

Quatre had found the lake and surrounding area extremely peaceful. He'd spoken with some of the native people and seen what the blond could only describe as magic being used. Control over the four elements. It was amazing. And beautiful to watch. Sometimes he would see 'Water Benders' down by the lake practicing. So far he hadn't had any luck himself with bending water to his will. But he had a feeling he wasn't doing the forms correctly.

Jaime Reyes | Fire

This was wrong. Jaime knew that much when he woke up in this strange place. The sky was filled with dark clouds and he felt the sweat running down his face. He was near one of the volcanos and could see smoke billowing out from the peak. He took off his hoodie and shirt. He tied both pieces of clothing around his waist and headed out to explore. How did he get here? Where even was here? He didn't know but he knew he had to find out.

Duo Maxwell | Air

He'd been told he could bend the very air - how cool was that? Duo just had to figure out how. That was what brought the braided former gundam pilot to making his way to one of the so called air temples, even if it had fallen into disuse and wasn't much to look at. Unless you liked heights, of course. Then the view was just breathtaking and you could forget the rubble.

Or so he'd been told, by a local he'd kept pestering until they'd caved and just told him all they could think of. So there he was, making his way towards the mountain range. If he was trying to catch the wind as he practically danced along, well. That was to be expected.

Being told he could manipulate fire at his will, no tools or tricks, had been both unbelievable and oddly fitting. He might have been tempted to leave it alone, if he hadn't seen a table catch on fire from his flare of temper. That couldn't be left uncontrolled, even if he hadn't hurt anyone.

He'd chosen an outdoor area of bare rock to train in, just in case.

It was just like any other martial art, able to be mastered. He focused on the flames in front of him in a small bowl of tinder, trying to make it twist. Making it more powerful could wait until he was stronger.
